Elphel Model 323 camera is one of the legacy cameras, more are shown here

Elphel Model 323 camera was created for high-speed high-resolution document scanning. It features

  • 35-mm format Kodak KAI-11002 CCD image sensor
  • electronic snapshot shutter
  • 11 Megapixel resoluion (4008 x 2672 )
  • Compatible with Nikon F-mount lenses (323C works with Canon EOS ones)
  • Frame rate 2 fps
  • Two of the 10313 system boards (same as in Model 313 cameras) working in parallel.
  • Weight: 1.04 kg (w/o lens)
  • Dimensions 102mm x 114mm x 117mm (w/o lens)
  • Power: PoE, 12 W
Collectively Elphel Model 323 cameras acquired several billions of high resolution still images.

hello guys

we are interested in building a similar camera for our book digitization project,can anyone point us in the right direction !

as far as i could understand we need 3 boards apart from the camera enclosure and lens

1.10363 - processor board 10363

2.10347 - controller part of a two-board stack (currently with 10342 or 10344) to connect 35mm format CCD image sensors

3. and 10342/10344 depending on the sensor we chose

from where can we buy these parts or is there a form of kit which we can buy (complete system)

Ah yes the Elphel 323, I

Ah yes the Elphel 323, I think it came out in '03 as a document scanning camera,
and high speed / high resolution. It not a bad set up for what is is, but I am not a
big fan of the Kodak KAI-11002 CCD image sensor it has.
