All the code developed at Elphel (software and FPGA code) is relicensed under GNU GPL Version 3 that better suits application of Free software to the hardware products.

Elphel presentation at Google Tech Talks

Testing of the Elphel model 353 camera performed by Communication Certification Laboratory (CCL) has found that it does meet FCC part 15 requirements for class A Verification. Tests were performed to measure radiated and conducted electromagnetic interference generated by the cameras when operated with specified settings.

Preliminary documentation for the Elphel models 353/353 cameras hardware is now available

353/363 cameras use software based on Linux kernel 2.6 (currently - 2.6.15). There will be more changes in software as we used different web server (lighttpd) and included PHP (as fastCGI application).

Live CD and DVD for Elphel cameras is released - you may download CD image from Sourceforge or request DVD from Elphel. This release is based on Knoppix 4.0.2 and includes new web control software and DVR server.
