I've now had this very expensive and promising camera for a number of months and have been failing at all of my experimental uses.

At the moment, I'm desperately in need of interfacing with zoneminder. Even just having the browser open watching the camera manually runs out of refresh time shorter than the number of seconds I put in.

My main and most important question is- how do I get a zoneminder compatible and maintenance-free interface that's on as long as the camera is? This is a 353.

Refresh in camvc.html is not

Refresh in camvc.html is not video, by default it expires in 20 seconds (you may change it). To get real video, you need to use RTP streaming (all the software to view the stream it is included on Elphel Live DVD).

You may try multipart JPEG available in firmware since 7.1.7.25 (like some web cameras generate) using imgsrv - just open (after camera compressor is turned on - i.e. with http://192.168.0.9/compressor.php?cmd=run) url http://192.168.0.9:8081/bmimg

That Multipart JPEG format is understood by Zoneminder, but still RTP stream is faster.
